Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of products and services provided by NutraForge Technologies Inc. (“NutraForge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including:
- The NutraForge mobile application(“Consumer App”) — available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
- The NutraForge Pro web application(“Practitioner Platform”) — a professional dashboard for health and nutrition practitioners and organizations, accessible at dashboard.nutraforge.ca
By accessing or using any NutraForge product, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years of age to use the NutraForge Consumer App. You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into binding agreements to use NutraForge Pro. If you are using NutraForge Pro on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Services Overview
2.1 NutraForge Consumer App
The Consumer App provides AI-powered personalized nutrition tracking for individuals, including speech-to-text, photo, and barcode meal logging; hydration tracking; AI-generated nutrition insights; recipe building; and nutrition analysis over time.
2.2 NutraForge Pro (Practitioner Platform)
NutraForge Pro is a web-based dashboard designed for nutrition professionals, dietitians, personal trainers, and health practitioners. It provides client nutrition oversight, macro target editing, AI analysis of client nutrition data with full historical context, an AI chat engine, and seat-based client management. Practitioners subscribe to NutraForge Pro on a volume-based pricing model, and client access to the NutraForge Consumer App is included in the practitioner's subscription.
3. Health Disclaimer
NutraForge provides general wellness information and nutrition tracking tools. Our products are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions regarding a medical condition or dietary needs. NutraForge Pro practitioners are solely responsible for the advice they provide to their clients through the platform.
4. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. NutraForge Pro practitioners are additionally responsible for managing access permissions for their client accounts and ensuring that client data is handled in accordance with applicable laws and professional standards.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
5.1 Consumer App
The NutraForge Consumer App is available for $9.99 CAD per month, billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Pricing and billing are governed by the respective platform's terms.
5.2 NutraForge Pro
NutraForge Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a monthly basis using volume-based pricing in Canadian dollars (CAD). Pricing is determined by the number of active client seats. Current pricing tiers are displayed at checkout and on our website. All prices shown are in CAD.
5.3 Free Trials
NutraForge Pro free trials are available by request only. Contact hello@nutraforge.ca to apply. Free trials convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled.
6. Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to your subscription until the end of the current billing period. For NutraForge Pro, cancellation will also end your clients' included app access at the end of the billing period.
7. Refunds
- Stripe (NutraForge Pro): Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis for billing errors. Contact hello@nutraforge.ca.
- Apple App Store / Google Play:Refunds are governed by the respective store's refund policies.
8. Practitioner Responsibilities
If you use NutraForge Pro, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of any nutrition advice, macro targets, or recommendations you provide to clients through the platform.
- You will comply with all applicable professional licensing requirements, regulations, and ethical standards in your jurisdiction.
- You will obtain appropriate consents from your clients before collecting, accessing, or storing their nutrition and health data on the platform.
- You will handle all client data in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including PIPEDA and any provincial health information legislation.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of NutraForge products — including software, text, graphics, logos, and AI models — are owned by NutraForge Technologies Inc. and are protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of our products without prior written consent.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the services for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the services or other users' accounts
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the services
- Upload malicious code or content
- Use NutraForge Pro to provide medical diagnoses or prescribe treatments (the platform is a nutrition tracking and analysis tool, not a medical device)
11. Third-Party Services
NutraForge integrates with the following third-party services. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms:
- Stripe — Payment processing
- Apple App Store / Google Play — App distribution and in-app purchases
- Google Cloud — Data storage and infrastructure
- PostHog — Product analytics (pseudonymized and aggregated)
- Auth0 — Authentication and identity management
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NutraForge Technologies Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NutraForge Technologies Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
14. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.
